Bull Fanatic
For those who have been watching the NBA games eversince, one of the most surprising happennings in the most popular basketball leaugue in the world is the Chicago Bulls' recent surge and their entry to the playoffs for the first time since 1998. No one really expected that they would be this good. Heck, no one even thought that they would win more than 20 games. And to top it all of, Chicago started the season with 9 straight loses. But look at where they are now. Not only are they in the playoffs, they also have homecourt advantage. And they are doing all these with an extremely young lineup lead by sophomore sensation Kirk Hinrich, veteran forward Antonio Davis and rookie phenom Ben Gordon. Well, this is just living proof that anything can happen in the NBA.
Strange as it may seem, each of us is like the Chicago Bulls. People tend to underestimate you after all your failures and things you cannot do. And everytime you try to do something, they tell you that you can't do it. They only see you inabilities, not your determination and perseverance. Then, if you start doing something good, they'll get vocal again saying that what you did was just a fluke since you don't have the skills, the body, the smarts to accomplish something. But if you just ignore what they say, if you just carry on with your work, and most importantly if you do your best, then you did it. You defied the odds. You made it.
Just like the Chicago Bulls, and a former Bull who faced adversity in his 15 year NBA career but walked out from the game the best basketball player ever.
